Thursday 31st Oct 2024 - Week 1. Opening Night!

Welcome and Introductions to include registration. There will be some vocal warm ups and we will assign you to a voice part. There will be a demonstration of the song where we will issue you with music and explore the music together. Later on we will split into 4 sections and learn the first segment of the song, part by part and put it together. Sheet music and top quality audio teach tracks will be provided to assist learning.

Thursday 7th November 2024 - Week 2

Weeks 2 to Week 5, we will start at 7.30pm where we will introduce you to some fun warm ups. We'll recap on parts of the song we have learnt so far, building week on week with tuition and encouragement from the Crystal Chords team.

Thursday 14th November 2024 - Week 3

In Week 3 we will sing some more fun warm up techniques and build in our singing craft to embed your learning on the song, with support from the Crystal Chords team.

Thursday 21st November 2024 - Week 4

Tonight we will put things together with performance techniques, singing and reinforcing the notes and words. Hopefully you will be "off paper" and able to sing the song without relying on the music so you can really fulfil your stage presence. We will also look at "stacking" all our new voices to help blend the sound that we create.

Thursday 28th November 2024 - Week 5. Show Finale with Friends and Family

Our Final Week! Chance to warm up, run through and recap, getting ready to perform. It will be a relaxed evening with cake on sale and family and friends will convene for drinks in the Guildhall bar area. Our showcase will start at approximately 8.30pm. Crystal Chords and some of our quartets will open the show, before course participants are invited to join the ranks for a final performance, showing off what you have learnt.
